3 Axis 125 x 125mm XYZ  Precision Stage with Specimen Clip

A top quality large micrometer precision X,Y and Z-height adjustable stage that can sit easily onto the UM1004 stand and on most other stands. The stage can be used to mount a specimen/specimen holder, the ideal manual system for positioning and gathering a stack of images of subjects at high magnification.  Using it to mount a specimen using the supplied rotatable crocodile clip is its most common usage.  It has 10 mm of vertical travel, the height being controlled by turning a fine micrometer knob with an additional knob which can be tightened to lock the position.  Also there are similar knobs to control the X and Y movement of up to 25mm in each axis.  The movements have graduated scales on the micrometer knobs so you can make extremely precise interval movements.
