Single Axis 125 x 125mm Precision Specimen Z Stage

A top quality large size micrometer precision z-height adjustable stage that can sit easily onto the UM1004 stand and on most other stands. The stage can be used to mount a specimen/specimen holder the ideal manual system for gathering a stack of images of subjects at high magnification.  In most cases using it to mount a specimen held in something like a crocodile clip is its most common usage.  It has 20 mm of Z travel, the height being controlled by turning a fine micrometer knob with an additional knob which can be tightened to lock the position.  The movement has graduated scales on the micrometer knob so you can make extremely precise interval movements.
